虛擬與現實 電影系列Virtual Reality Film Series

By presenting to you two high quality documentaries in April 2015, the "Virtual Reality Film Series" aims to explore how every aspect of our lives and the way we perceive the world have over turned in one single decade, when technology and internet have been put into the public hands, when the virtual world hacks and becomes the reality. Each screening will be followed by a discussion session led by relevant scholars and experts in English or Cantonese.

In Seoul, hundreds of young boys compete to be the best at one single video game: Starcraft. The top players are viewed as national celebrities, participating on all levels of popular culture. But what happens when play becomes work? For some it will be a struggle to stay on top of their game, for others it might be the turning point of their lives.
